Thanks to everyone who came on Sunday August 1st to find themselves. The opening was really warming and reports tell us that hundreds of people are going every day to the hoarding and taking pictures. Its a great outcome after a seemingly impossible logistical challenge.
Apologies to those people who can't see much or all of themselves but in those few cases we are working to find them on other images and they will be sent a small print. Unfortunately some compromises had to be made given the very tight timeframe and the fragile nature of the technologies. There is one image where everyone is visible but this required so much work that it wasn't able to be used as the deadline for getting the image on the fence was very tight. As it was Adam worked for the whole of Saturday night, Sunday, Sunday night and Monday til 5, without any sleep, to get the file to the printers of the large scale image. So our apologies if you were disappointed.
We did our absolute best to get this right but as with most pioneering projects, it did have its flaws. So we appreciated your participation and your feedback.
If you did participate could you please answer the following questions? The answers only need to be brief.
Thank you,
Rhonda Wilson
